The computer generated short features Bruce Wayne in the Batcave telling viewers about a mysterious mission in which his alter ego Batman had to sneak aboard a train. It ends ominously, with a suggestion that the Caped Crusader had gotten himself into a situation more deadly than he had expected.
Little is known about Adams' Batman Odyssey, which DC Comics has yet to officially announce, but the artist has indicated on his website nealadams.com that it is to be a collaboration with writer Frank Miller and various inkers.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the project, the Adams camp appears to be confident it will see the light of day.
Family member, Kris, said on the site: "Batman Odyssey has been made larger. We have just penned an agreement for part 2 of the Odyssey which will be another 150 story.
"We are very excited on how this project is moving along . We are gathering together the top talent of the field to work with Neal on the inking chores of this fantastic series.
"I will keep you posted on when DC will be putting it out. Neal handed in the plots and scripts for the new second half of Batman Odyssey this week. And I decided to show a little Scott Williams inking on Neal."
Adams first drew Batman in the 1970s alongside writer Dennis O’Neil.
