On top of the core First Wave miniseries - written by Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets) with art by Rags Morales (Identity Crisis) - there will two ongoing series launched as a part of the "pulpy, neo-noir epic".
Doc Savage will be written by Paul Malmont and illustrated by Howard Porter, with a Justice Inc co-feature.
The second title will be the Mark Schultz penned and Moritat illustrated The Spirit, with a The Spirit: Black & White co-feature offering different artists and writers the chance to produce a short story featuring the masked vigilante each month.
The first such feature will be written by Dennis O’Neil and illustrated by Bill Sienkiewicz.
'First Wave' sets classic pulp heroes including Batman, The Spirit and Doc Savage in a gritty world where super-powered beings do not exist.
Doc Savage and The Spirit will debut in April.
