Fables: Werewolves Of The Heartland is written by series creator Bill Willingham and drawn by Jim Fern and Craig Hamilton.
The original series is a reinterpretation of traditional children's stories such as Snow White, Prince Charming and Pinocchio. It sees the fairy tale characters make their way to New York after their home world is attacked by an evil adversary.
Bigby Wolf is based on the Big Bad Wolf of legend, except this incarnation of the beast is able to take on human form. Now a reformed character, the upcoming spinoff finds him searching "for a new home for Fabletown".
Fables: Werewolves Of The Heartland is available later this year.
