Norwegian cartoonist John Arne Sæterøy - better known as Jason - will see his short stories You Can't Get There From Here, Tell Me Something, Meow, Baby and The Living and the Dead collected in the book, titled Almost Silent.
"As the title says, a lot of the comics are without text," Jason told Newsarama. "In the beginning it was something I did to reach outside of Norway, to skip the whole problem of language.
"Then I realised it was something I liked doing, it was easier for me to work without text, it was easier to improvise stories. And then at some point it became a challenge to write dialogue, which is what I've been doing in the later albums."
The stories were written between five and twelve years ago.
Almost Silent will be released in late February by Fantagraphics Books.
