Secret Avengers will be written by Eisner Award-winner Ed Brubaker (Captain America) with art from current Dark Avengers penciler Mike Deodato.
Marvel released a teaser image for the series showing a mysterious silhouette accompanied by the words, "I focus on the solution, not the problem".
Further details of the title are yet to be revealed.
Secret Avengers and Avengers will both debut in May.
