BOOM! Studios is to launch a political satire comic titled Repuglicans! under its BoomTown imprint.
The series features caricatures of well known US Republican politicians in the style of a B-Movie. Artwork on the book is provided by Pete Von Sholly with commentary by Steve Tatham.
BOOM's solicitation reads: "Pete Von Sholly and Steve Tatham bring you a completely unfair and not balanced take on Republican Party leaders and apparatchiks. Sarah Palin, John McCain, Glenn Beck and others all unveiled as vampires, freaks, and zombies."
A teaser image by Von Sholly showed Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs and Ann Coulter, alongside the tagline: "They came to feed on the body politic".
An official release date for Repuglicans! is yet to be announced.
