'The Crazies' gets comic book adaptation

Publisher Top Cow is producing a four-issue miniseries based on the film. Each chapter will feature its own creative team and expand on the events of its big screen counterpart.
Ivan Brandon and Jon Buran collaborated on the first chapter 'Hopman Bog', which was followed by Brian Reed and Hugo Petrus's 'Dwyer Creek'. Marc Andreyko and Vincent Spencer are working on 'Black Pond', and Joshua Hale Fialkov and Rashan Ekedal will handle 'Ogden Marsh'.
Issues #1 and #2 arrived in stores today. The concluding parts will be released on February 24.
Additionally, Starz Digital Media and Double Barrel Motion Labs have adapted the series as a motion comic. The first chapter hits iTunes and the PlayStation Network on February 23.
The Crazies arrives in theatres on February 26.
