Fantagraphics launches manga line

The Comics Journal's Dirk Deppey revealed the agreement between Fantagraphics and Shogakukan on his blog.
The deal - which Deppey claimed had been four years in the making - will see Matt Thorn editing and translating the comics.
The line will launch in September with a collection of stories by Moto Hagio, the legendary artist and pioneer of modern shojo manga.
