Marvel Comics unveiled Striker as the second student to enrol in its Avengers Academy.
The publisher previously announced that Academy will replace its Avengers: Initiative title following the conclusion of the 'Siege' event.
A teaser image from artist Mike McKone depicted Striker alongside the caption: "I don't want the spotlight. I am the spotlight."
Marvel's first teaser for the comic confirmed that Veil has also joined the superhero academy.
Written by Christos Gage and drawn by McKone, Avengers Academy will debut in June to coincide with the dawning of the 'Heroic Age'.
