Simone revealed last week that she would be ending her run on DC's Wonder Woman, but would be focusing on other projects instead.
WildStorm confirmed on its blog The Bleed that one of these projects would see Simone return to the series detailing the goings on in Tranquility, a fictional Californian town populated by retired superheroes and supervillains.
The Secret Six writer will be reunited with Neil Googe (Majestic), her collaborator on the first 12-issue run.
WildStorm also previewed the cover to Welcome to Tranquility: One Foot in the Grave #2.
The series will restart in the summer.
