Released as part of the publisher's 'Rock 'N' Roll Comics' line, the one-shot will chronicle the career of the 1970s rock stars.
Written by Spike Steffenhagen and Jay Allen Sanford, with interior art by Joe Paradise and Larry Nadolsky, the comic features a cover illustration by Michal Szyksznian.
'Rock 'N' Roll Comics' has previously focused on Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and Ozzy Osbourne.
Jett and her band will also receive the biography treatment in the forthcoming film The Runaways, starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.
Joan Jett And The Runaways will arrive in stores in June.
