The involvement of DC's new exclusive artist is the first detail that the company has released regarding the forthcoming anniversary issue.
"Batman is such an iconic character and I've been a huge fan for so long that it was a surreal and amazing experience to draw him officially for the first time," Finch told DC's blog The Source.
"I really have to thank [Batman group editor] Mike Marts for letting me be a part of such an important milestone in the history of this book."
Batman #700 will be released in June, in the same month as Superman #700 and Wonder Woman #600.
