Based on the popular children's television show, the four-issue plotline will feature the characters Gizmoduck, Launchpad McQuack, Hewey, Dewey and Louie, and be written by Disney scribes.
"DuckTales is one of the most beloved television shows of the '90s," said BOOM Kids! editor Aaron Sparrow. "It's just spectacular to be bringing it back for a whole new generation to discover and enjoy."
The publisher previously announced that it is to publish comics based on Disney's Darkwing Duck under its Kids imprint.
The DuckTales arc will begin in June's Uncle Scrooge #392.
