The chatshow host - who recently announced plans to quit the BBC - launched the magazine in February to success in America.
He told The Sun: "As a longtime comics fan, writing one of my own has been a dream of mine but it's not easy."
The star credited his wife Jane Goldman, the director of Kick-Ass, for influencing his writing skills.
"But I owe it all to Jane. She's written Kick-Ass and all these other movies and taught me how to be a disciplined writer. She told me to just write it and not to stop - that rewriting at the end was the fun part.
"Now it's done and I'm really pleased with it," Ross added.
