The four-issue series will be written by Michael Alan Nelson (28 Days Later) and illustrated by newcomer Damian Couceiro.
Hawks of Outremer features Howard's character Cormac FitzGeoffrey, a vengeful and ruthless wandering warrior.
"This is sword swinging, beserker action only the way Robert E. Howard and Boom! Studios can deliver," said marketing director Chip Mosher.
"The action is so non-stop, comic fans really to need to make sure you read Robert E. Howard's Hawks of Outremer close to a hospital because once you open the pages, you might just get cut!"
The series will debut in June.
