Produced in conjunction with Disney Educational Productions and the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies in Washington, the animated comic will run for ten issues.
Each episode features stories of Americans who helped save Jewish people during the Second World War. The project combines animation and comic art, as well as historical photographs and film footage.
The series will debut this weekend at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art's MoCCA Fest, where the episodes 'La Guardia's War Against Hitler' and 'Voyage Of The Doomed' will be shown.
These will be followed by episodes titled 'Walls Of Paper, Rescue Over The Mountains' and 'Messenger From Hell'.
The comics were written by Wyman Institute director Rafael Medoff and are available to view via the project's official website.
