Marvel Comics has confirmed rebrandings and new titles in its X-Men line.

At the inaugural Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo's X-Men panel, a host of creators announced the forthcoming changes to the books.

A new X-Men title is to be launched featuring the much teased 'Mutants vs Vampires' storyline.

Wolverine: Weapon X will be replaced by Wolverine - penned by Jason Aaron and pencilled by Renato Guedes - in September. Its sister title Dark Wolverine is to become Daken: Dark Wolverine at the same time.

X-Force will conclude with the 'Second Coming' storyline, and relaunch under writer Rick Remender and Jerome Opeņa in October.

A new X-23 title will begin in September from writer Marjorie Liu and a yet-to-be-named artist.

Whilce Portacio will become the new artist on Uncanny X-Men from July, with Leonard Kirk providing the pencils for New Mutants.

Moderator Arune Singh promised an X-Men line more intergrated with the rest of the Marvel Universe in the future, explaining appearances by non-mutant characters including Spider-Man, Savage She-Hulk and Blade on recent promotional material.
