The Planetary and Astonishing X-Men artist will illustrate the covers from issue #701.
The other members of the new Superman creative team - J. Michael Straczynski (Thor) and Eddy Barrows (Action Comics) - will begin work on the series one issue before on the landmark Superman #700.
Superman #701 will be released on July 14.
