Issue #889 will be the last starring Christopher Kent and Thara Ak-Var, DC has revealed.
The two Kryptonians have taken over on the comic following the World Without a Superman and World of New Krypton storylines last year.
DC blog The Source announced the issue: "Don't miss #889, as Nightwing & Flamebird have their final showdown with the warped clone of the Kryptonian sun god, Rao, which leads directly into May's War of the Supermen event!"
Action Comics #889 also brings Greg Rucka's run on the series to an end. June's issue #690 will be penned by Marc Guggenheim, with Paul Cornell beginning his Lex Luthor starring run on the book from issue #691.
