The six pages show the beginning of the Kryptonian invasion of Earth and Superman as he attempts to prevent it.
The four-issue, weekly miniseries marks the culmination of the long-running storyline that begin when the shrunken Kryptonian city of Kandor was rescued from Brainiac and returned to its original size.
The prelude issue War of the Supermen #0 was released on Free Comic Book Day last Saturday.
The miniseries is written by James Robinson and Sterlng Gates with art by Jamal Igle and Jon Sibal.
