The Punisher seeks Daken rematch

The Punisher will go head-to-head with Daken once again in a new four-part crossover.

The storyline will run through Rick Remender's FrankenCastle and Daniel Way and Marjorie Liu's Dark Wolverine.

"I think one of the fun things about this story is that Frank [Castle] is using some things to strengthen his position to go out and get revenge against someone like Daken," said Remender.

"And halfway through this story, Frank realises that he may have inadvertently brought something very powerful to Daken. Then it kind of flips and Frank realises that he's no longer hunting Daken and maybe Daken is hunting him."

Wolverine's estranged son was responsible for completely eviscerating Castle in Dark Reign: The List - Punisher one-shot. The Punisher was later rebuilt as a Frankenstein-like monster.

The storyline begins in Dark Wolverine #88.
