Jay Potts tops Glyph Awards

Jays Potts and his blaxploitation webcomic World of Hurt have been awarded three Glyph Awards.
The annual awards, which honour "the best in comics made by, for, and about people of colour", were announced last Friday at East Coast Black Age of Comics Con, reports Robot 6.
Potts received the 'Best Artist' and 'Rising Star' awards. World of Hurt's Isaiah Pastor was named 'Best Male Character'.
Aya: The Secrets Come Out and Luke Cage Noir won two awards each.
Vertigo's Unknown Soldier was awarded 'Story of the Year' for issues #13 to 14, written by Joshua Dysart and illustrated by Pat Masioni.
The Glyph Awards were founded by Rich Watson in 2005.
