Pages from the book, which is penned by renowned horror authot Peter Straub (The Talisman) and actor Michael Easton (One Life to Live) with art by John Bolton (God Save the Queen), were previewed on the official Graphic Content blog.
The book reintroduces Fielding "Fee" Bandolier, the terrifying killer last seen in Straub's novel The Throat.
"Now, aging and tired, Fee is preparing to end his long career of bloodshed, but New York detective Bob Steele is giving one last ditch effort to catch Fielding Bandolier," wrote Vertigo.
"They come face to face in a mysterious abandoned Midwestern pub where an evil stronger than either of them lies, awaiting to seal their fates."
The Green Woman is out in October.
