The fifth instalment of the best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been announced.
Amulet Books will release the latest volume in Jeff Kinney's series on November 9.
"I feel like everything in the series has been leading up to the fifth book, which is about change and the different ways Greg and his best friend, Rowley, deal with it," said Kinney.
"To me, this book is the lynchpin in the series, and I'm excited to be writing it."
Diary of a Wimpy Kid follows the adventures of Greg Heffley as he struggles through his childhood.
A live-action movie adaptation of the series was released in March, with a second film scheduled for release on March 25, 2011.
