John Layman has revealed his plans for his ongoing Image Comics title Chew.

Speaking on his panel at Phoenix Comicon, the writer outlined the future of the comic, reports CBR.

He plans the series to run for about 60 issues.

"I know the ending," he said. "Everything is leading to a conclusion."

Layman also revealed that a major change will take place for the series with the beginning of a new arc in issue #15.

It will feature a pull-out poster starring the series' core characters in a Last Supper pose. "Some of these characters haven't even been introduced yet," he said.

Chew became the surprise hit of 2009 when it debuted last summer.
