Based on the prose novel by Donald E Westlake, the title is available for iPad, IPhone and iPod Touch via the IDW app.
The publisher claims that the "application offers readers the highest quality viewing experience, with a full page display that showcases the eye-catching art and vivid story of this classic crime character'.
Following the exploits of master criminal Parker, the book serves as the first in a long-running series. Each chapter can be downloaded for $1.99 (£1.30).
The Hunter is available now through the IDW app.
