Dynamite outlines 'Vampirella' plans

Dynamite Entertainment has announced plans to release two Vampirella collections later this year.

According to the firm, Vampirella Archive volume one compiles the character's early outings, while the first volume of the Vampirella Masters Series features Grant Morrison and Mark Millar's work on the title.

"Vampirella is one of comics' greatest female icons, and we're proud to bring her classic and contemporary tales back to print for fans old and new," said Dynamite president and publisher Nick Barrucci.

"From the works of legendary creators, to today's contemporary superstars, we're proud to have the opportunity to place some of the stories in collected form for the first time.

"We're also beginning our 'Master Series' with two masters - Grant Morrison and Mark Millar - and will continue with Warren Ellis, James Robinson and will continue with Vampirella's rich history of fantastic creators."

Vampirella Archive features Frank Frazetta's original cover to Vampirella #1. The Masters Series sports a Jae Lee design.

Vampirella Archive Volume One Premiere Hard Cover Edition is slated for release in October. Vampirella Masters Series Vol. 1: Grant Morrison & Mark Millar will be available in paperback in November.
