Tokyopop has announced a deal with digital publishers Zinio to make its manga available for online download.
More than 50 volumes of manga are available for immediate download for PC and Mac.
"I have always been a strong advocate for digital - in fact, my DNA is made entirely from 0's and 1's," said Tokyopop founder Stu Levy.
"The manga lifestyle is rapidly moving online and we are committed to finding the best experience possible in that medium. Zinio offers the top online reading experience and their team is committed to providing a 360º accessibility."
The initial selection of backlist manga consists mainly of the publisher's original English language titles including Bizenghast, Dramacon, Princess Ai, The Dreaming, Van Von Hunter, but it also includes the popular shonen-ai series Graviation.
