Archaia has released a preview of the cover of its first collaboration with Zachary Quinto.
Lucid is being produced in association with the Star Trek and Heroes actor's production company Before the Door.
The four-issue miniseries - written and illustrated by Michael McMillian and Anna Wieszczyk - follows the adventures of sy and combat mage Matthew Dee.
"Lucid is my attempt to exorcise a lifelong love affair with comics, swashbuckler action adventures and an unhealthy fixation with fantasy," said McMillian.
"Matthew Dee is a pulp hero for the 21st century and I'm very excited Archaia and Before the Door have given me the opportunity to create a new world for him to explore."
The first issue will debut at Comic-Con International at the end of July before its general release in August.
