Issue #26 sees a group of big-game hunters pursuing a new kind of game - the eponymous team of sometime-supervillains.
"Some rich creeps think it would be fun to play that game using supervillains," Ostrander told Newsarama. "But ones they consider 'low grade'.
"And the creeps have technological weaponry that, they think, makes them superior. No-one will miss this group of villains. So they think.
"[The members of the Secret Six] get p*ssed off. Really bad idea, p*ssing off any of these people. Really, really bad idea doing it to them as a group."
The writer revealed that he has been asked to prepare more fill-in issues for Gail Simone's title.
Secret Six #26 is out this week.
