2010 Harvey nominees announced

The awards - named after the late Harvey Kurtzman - recognise "outstanding work in comics and sequential art", and will be presented during Baltimore Comic-Con on August 28.
The nominees in the Best Writer category are Jason Aaron (Scalped), Geoff Johns (Blackest Night), Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #3: The Last Straw) and Mark Waid (Irredeemable).
Competing for the Best Artist are Robert Crumb (Book of Genesis), Guy Davis (BPRD: Black Goddess), Brian Fies (Whatever Happened to the World of Tomorrow?), David Petersen (Mouse Guard: Winter 1152), Frank Quitely (Batman and Robin) and J.H. Williams III (Detective Comics).
