Writers say 'God Loves Batman'

Fred Phelps infamous congregation, best known for picketing the funerals of dead American soldiers, have reportedly made plans to protest at Comic-Con over the 'idolatrous' worship of comic book characters.
Writer Kelly Sue DeConnick and her husband Matt Fraction have pledged to donate money to Aids charity amfAR if the church appears at Comic-Con, with the donation rising depending on how long they stay.
DeConnick encouraged others to get involved via the Twitter hashtag #godlovesbatman.
