Raw Studios has announced the revival of the '80s sci-fi anthology Alien Worlds.
Raw unveiled the return of the former Pacific Books property during its panel at Comic-Con International, reports CBR.
"I was with Pacific Books in the '80s and back then we thought bringing back to comics something that hadn't been around for 20 years - a science fiction adult-oriented non-superhero anthology done with the illustrated approach to comics as was done in EC by Abe Krinkle, Johnny Krieger and Al Williamson - would be great," said writer Bruce Jones.
"There were too many superheroes then."
"And it's the same situation today," added actor and Raw co-founder Thomas Jane.
A revival of the horror anthology Twisted Tales was also announced.
