Edgar Wright has teased what fans can expect from his script for the upcoming Marvel Studios film Ant-Man.

The Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World director previously revealed that he had been writing a script for the adaptation, and has now confirmed that following the conclusion of Scott Pilgrim he has returned to work on Ant-Man

Speaking with Vanity Fair, Wright said that he was currently working on a second draft of the script, and that he wanted to avoid the stigma attached to films about characters who shrink in size.

"Every movie about shrinking has been about people in peril," Wright explained. "I think it'd be great to do a shrinking film about a bad-ass secret agent."

"It's essentially a high-tech spy heist film with somebody with a very particular power," he continued.

Wright seemed to hint that his script revolved around original Ant-Man Hank Pym, rather than newer incarnations like Scott Lang or Eric O' Grady, but is yet to officially confirm which will be the film's protagonist.

Recently at Comic-Con 2010, it was confirmed by Wright and Avengers director Joss Whedon that Ant-Man will not have a role in the first film in the Avengers film series.
