The book from the creator of Nickelodeon's The Angry Beavers tells the story of Ripley Plimpt, an 11-year-old who discovers a knack for treating the ailments of mythical monsters, reports ICv2.
Schauer said that the inspiration for the book came from his childhood, in which he found more sympathy for the monsters in horror movies than for the human protagonists.
He also revealed that Lincoln Butterfield is in talks for an animated series based on the property.
