Marvel will soon instigate a number of changes across the Hulk line, including a title change for Incredible Hulk to Incredible Hulks to represent the shift of the title from a solo to a team book.
"The great thing about the Hulks is that everybody on the team is an insane powerhouse," Pak told Comic Book Resources of the title's new direction. "There's no team that has as much brute physical force as this group."
Pak explained that although their innate strength will make the characters perfect against certain threats, they will also see their huge anger levels cause trouble in the group.
"The family conjunction and those feelings of anger really pump the drama and the stakes up to the highest level," Pak said of the family interactions Incredible Hulks will showcase.
Pak also announced that following the conclusion of the 'Dark Son' storyline, which begins soon, Incredible Hulks will then tie in with the upcoming company-wide event Chaos War.
Pencilled by Paul Pelletier, the title enters Chaos War with issue #618 when Doctor Strange requests help from the Hulk in dealing with the dangerous Chaos King.
Pak confirmed that readers wouldn't need to read both Chaos War and the tie-in issues of Incredible Hulks to understand what is happening but teased that the Hulk would play a major role in the finale of Chaos War.
