In an interview with MTV, the exec said that a big budget movie based on the science fiction comic is "the coolest idea imaginable".
"Killraven to me, is such a great concept," he said. "You take the idea of Spartacus, except instead of it being Romans, it's Martians. You're on Mars, and it's a new race, and you're a human gladiator on Mars."
Based on a creation by Roy Thomas and Neal Adams, Killraven takes place on an alternative version of Earth where aliens have enslaved humanity. The title character is a human who joins a band of freedom fighters to battle the oppressors.
Quesada went on to say that he envisions the project as a "$200 million movie". He also suggested that a television adaptation could be viable.
"Maybe if you were feeling adventurous and could make it budgetarily work for television, it could be possible there as well," he added.
