Marvel Comics has released a teaser for the first issue of its crossover miniseries Chaos War.
Written by Greg Pak and Fred Van with artwork from Khoi Pham, the comic sees Hercules assemble a team comprising Thor, Galactus, Sersi, Silver Surfer and Venus to ward off Chaos King's invasion of Earth.
"The Chaos King has amassed an army of alien slave gods to destroy reality! It's up to Hercules, newly infused with Godpower, and the greatest Marvel heroes to defend all of existence," read the publisher's solicitation.
"Can the Chaos King be stopped or will the Marvel Universe be decimated irrevocably?"
Chaos War #1 arrives in stores on September 16.
