Tomasi discusses 'Batman and Robin'

He confirmed that Batman and Robin will continue to focus primarily on the characters of Dick Grayson as the new Batman, and Damian as Robin despite the return of the original Batman, Bruce Wayne.
"That's not to say that Bruce won't be around in our pages, he most definitely will," Tomasi explained to Newsarama of Wayne's presence in the series. "We'll open the book by addressing Bruce's return in a very personal way and take it from there."
The writer has claimed he is keen to explore the budding brotherly relationship between Grayson and Damian.
"Their dynamic is evolving and growing," he said of the new duo. "There's still a lot to explore in their relationship and how they view each other."
Tomasi has suggested some of the elements from his run on Nightwing may carry over into Batman and Robin, but that he will be making a distinction between how Grayson acted as Nightwing and how he acts now as Batman.
He also revealed that he will introduce a number of new villains over the course of his run as writer on the book.
Bruce Wayne's return to the DC Universe is currently being told in the Grant Morrison penned miniseries The Return of Bruce Wayne.
