'Girl Genius' takes Hugo Award

Girl Genius has won the 2010 Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story.
The ninth volume of the series received the prestigious science fiction award, reports Robot 6.
Kaja and Phil Foglio and Cheyenne Wright's title follow the adventures of Agatha Heterodyne, a young student who inherits the 'Spark' that makes a person a mad genius.
Girl Genius also received the inaugural Best Graphic Story award last year for its eighth volume.
The award-winners were announced at AussieCon 4, the 68th World Science Fiction Convention, in Melbourne, Australia.
