The company will cease publishing comics under the WildStorm banner as of December.
"While these will be the final issues published under the WildStorm imprint, it will not be the last we will see of many of these heroes," said DC co-publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee in their announcement on The Source
"We, along with Geoff Johns, have a lot of exciting plans for these amazing characters, so stay tuned. Going forward, WildStorm’s licensed titles and kids comics will now be published under the DC banner."
The digital imprint Zuda will also close at the end of this week, following the shutting down of its website earlier in the year.
Material that was to be published by Zuda will instead appear under the main DC banner.
The WildStorm editorial team will be restructured and incorporated into DC's digital division.
