According to a notice the firm filed at the New York State Department of Labour, up to 80 of its employees face redundancy or relocation in the wake of extensive restructuring.
Almost one-third of DC's workforce will be affected by its relocation strategy, which will see its media division move to Burbank, CA. The report did not indicate what percentage of the team face the axe.
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times reported that around 20% of DC's workforce will lose their jobs. However, the company later refuted these claims.
The terminations will commence next Monday and continue through to August 27, 2011.
