DC announces 'Batman: Europa'

DC Comics has unveiled a new miniseries titled Batman: Europa.
Announced via the publisher's blog, the four-part story is written by Brian Azzarello and features a different artist each issue.
DC co-publisher Jim Lee will handle pencilling duties on the first issue. Subsequent chapters will be illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli, Diego Latorre and Jock.
The book's storyline finds the Dark Knight infected with a lethal virus, forcing him to team up with arch-nemesis the Joker to quest across Europe for a cure.
Batman: Europa #1 is slated to arrive in January. Further details of the series are expected to be announced at this weekend's New York Comic Con.
