Marvel unveils 'Astonishing Captain America'

Speaking at a live edition of their Marvel T&A column at New York Comic Con, editors Tom Brevoort and Axel Alonso revealed that writer Andy Diggle (Shadowland) and artist Adi Granov (Iron Man) will be the creative team on the five-issue series, reports CBR.
Brevoort promised "a big, huge, sweeping, rollicking, super spy action adventure" starring Steve Rogers. It will be set in the present but with threads stretching back to the Second World War.
Marvel's 'Astonishing' line began with various Astonishing X-Men series before expanding with Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine earlier in the year.
Alonso also revealed that Daniel Way and Jason Pearson would replace Warren Ellis on Astonishing X-Men from issue #36.
