Speaking at New York Comic Con's DC Universe panel, the Justice League of America writer said that the limited series will run for 12 issues, reports CBR.
The Shade was a Golden Age villain revived as an anti-hero during Robinson's acclaimed run on Starman.
The series will feature three-issue story arcs, as well as 'Times Past' issues illustrated by different artists.
The 'Times Past' format was established in Starman as short storylines looking back at adventures of characters in the Golden Age of comics.
