The title will be created by Black Cherry Bombshells and Moon Girl writers Johnny Zito and Tony Trov, along with Christian Weiser and High Treason Pictures, reports Robot 6.
The comic, illustrated by Paul Maybury and Aqua Leung, is planned to debut before High Treason's film of the same name.
It tells the story of Zoe, "the swashbuckling captain of Earth's first Martian colony. Isolated on the farthest frontier of civilization, order breaks down when unfamiliar hostiles invade. Zoe faces mutiny, death and dishonour; she must sacrifice her humanity if she hopes to survive."
The company is best known for its digital distribution, but has also created titles including Moon Girl and Box 13.
