DC Comics has announced a renewed focus on the stars of its titles in January.
A series of stark covers featuring the starring superheroes and redesigned logos against a white background were unveiled on The Source.
Four one-shots were also detailed: a Starman/Congorilla team-up from James Robinson and Brett Booth, Shazam by Eric Wallace and Cliff Richards, Steel written by Steve Lyons with art by Sean Chen, and J.T. Krul, Adriana Melo and Mariah Benes's Wonder Girl.
"This January, we're putting the focus squarely on the characters and iconic heroes of the DCU," said co-publisher Dan DiDio. "Not only will we tell new stories [for] some of the more-deserving with special one-shots, but we'll be giving every title in the line a unique treatment that puts the spotlight on the heroes and villains that populate the DC Universe."
