'SpongeBob' comics on the way

According to Bleeding Cool, series creator Steven Hillenburg will pen the stories alongside independent writers and artists.
Joey Weiser, James Kochalka, Hilary Barta, Graham Annable, Gregg Schigiel and Jacob Chabo have been named as collaborators on SpongeBob Comics, which debuts in February 2011.
Created by marine biologist and animator Hillenburg in 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants went on to become Nickelodeon's highest-rated show. The programme is currently in its eighth season.
Bongo Comics was founded by Steve and Cindy Vance, Bill Morrison, and Matt Groening in 1993. The publisher is best known for its comics based on The Simpsons and Futurama.
