'The Boys' approaches milestone
Published Saturday, Nov 13 2010, 06:40 GMT | By Mark Langshaw

Published by Dynamite Entertainment, the series follows a team of black-ops soldiers charged with policing superpowered beings.
Writer and creator Ennis told Newsarama: "#50 itself is actually entirely told in flashback, detailing the Boys' initial encounters with the Seven in the aftermath of the 9/11 fiasco. So Hughie isn't in it at all, and Greg Mallory is still running the show."
The scribe went on to say that the landmark issue will serve as part of a story arc titled 'Proper Preparation And Planning', which will continue into issue #51. The series is currently scheduled to run for 72 issues.
The Boys #50 arrives in stores in January.
