Designer and musician Stephen Joule is selling the original artwork from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons's legendary comic through Heritage Auctions, reports The Beat.
Joule purchased the page for around £110 in 1987. It is expected to sell for more than £9,500.
"When I asked [Gibbons at a later event] to sign this page he was more than willing," said Joule. "But when he saw that it was page #1, issue #1, he said, 'Bloody hell, I told the wife not to sell that one!' Sadly for him, it was a little too late."
